Mr. Nikonov, Vasily Vladislavovich

Graduated from Samara State Technical University in 1994
In 1993, being a student, Mr. Nikonov began to work as deputy head of credit department at Mezhvuzovsky branch of SCIB.
After getting second university degree in economics (finance and credits) Mr. Novikov started working in Samara Credit bank. In 1997 he was appointed deputy president of the bank, and in 2000 first deputy director of Samara Credit commercial bank.
In 2000 Mr. Nikonov was employed by Samaraenergo as deputy general director for property and share capital.
In 2001 Mr. Nikonov was appointed director for corporate policy and property management of Mid-Volga Interregional Managing Power Company. At that time MVIMPC controlled four regional power companies: Samaraenergo, Ulyanovskenergo, Saratovenergo and Kalmenergo. Development and implementation of these power companies restructuring program was the major undertaking of Mr. Nikonov in that period.
In October 2003 Samaraenergo, Ulyanovskenergo and Saratovenergo restructuring project was approved by RF Government Committee for Electric Power Industry Restructuring, in September 2004 the project was approved by RAO EUSR Board of Directors.
In June 2004 года Mr. Nikonov was offered a position of Deputy managing director of RAO «UES of Russia» (business unit №2)
On July 18, 2005 Mr. Nikonov was elected the General Director of Volga TGC by statutory meeting resolution. Thus, Mr. Nikomov became the first general director in the history of the Company.
Currently Mr. Nikonov occupies the following posts in the management bodies: Chairman of the Board - Orenburg Heat Generation Company, Penza Generation Company, Saratovenergo, Vladimir Power Company, Troitsk District Power Station, Tumen Regional Generation Company, Yajvinskaya District Power Station, Smolensk District Power station, Chelyabinsk generating Company, OGC-2, TGC-11; Deputy Chairman of the Board - Samaraenergo, Orenburgenergo, Kurganenergo; Member of the Board - South Power Center, Volga TGC, OJSC «Engineering Center of Volga-basin power industry», Central Moscow Depositary
